Making & Saving Money

Hello,

I hope this blog post finds you well this fine Thursday.

I wanted to let you guys in on my 6 ways I make a little moolah.

Like most stay at home moms I am always looking for ways to make and save money.

And since you are also like most people. You probably want to make and save money.

I am going to share with you little ways I have found to make this happen. These things are not scams, but they wont make you rich in a day either. Just keep the mind set that pennies add up to dollars.

1. My debit card.

I signed up with my bank to earn back 1% cash back everytime I swipe my card as credit instead of debit. Now..no I don’t do credit cards. I have that blocked on my account.

You can run credit and still it works like debit.

This is just what I recieved in the last six months. You can tell I don’t use my card often. Imagine if I did.

2. I am signed up for 2 affiliate programs.

The Pink Buffalo Boutique

I earn a bit of commission, but also can save you money on clothing.

Just use TASHANNA for 10% off at check out. Oh! and they have a payment option so you can purchase clothing, but pay a little chunk at a time monthly.

Amazon

you’ll notice little links to things that I actually do use leading to amazon. when you purchase that product I do get a kick back. Don’t worry though y’all I always go with the cheaper buyer option because I’m not out to put yall in th hole. I’d rather you save some money, but get a good product too. like the glass spice kit I linked here

If you do purchase something from one of these, thank you, I really do appreciate your support.

3. Grove Collaborative

If you haven’t heard of Grove, I am sorry..because you’re missing out.

I was spending up to $50 on my cleaing products, now I am only spending $20. AND they throw in free stuff if you sign up for their VIP membership. I like free stuff.

Beyond saving money I also like Grove because the products I get from them are products I dont have to worry about my baby breathing in when I’m cleaning with and she loves helping me.

4. Ruketen

When I shop online I use Rakuten and get cash back. My last purchase I gained $14.94 dollars back. I cashed in just to show you guys, you ACTUALLY get a check.

Use this when you pull up my affiliate links to amazon….you will save.

5. ThredUP

Y’all know kids grow fast right? So I can’t be the only one ending up with brand new clothes that haven’t been worn.

This is where ThredUP comes in. They have a bag they will send you free so you can purge your house hold of clothes to sell.

I do this twice a year.

Oh, and you can find cheap name brand like new items for yourself.

6. OnMyWay

This little app will pay you to not to text and drive. They are still working on the kinks to be able to pay you via Paypal, but for now they have some pretty awesome rewards and saving offers instead.

Like $100 dollars off invisaline, have a kid who needs braces?

So there you have it. Six legit ways I have found to save and make money. Besides you know, meal prep..shop sales..only buy what you need with an occasional what you want.

I hope you guys liked this. If you did subscribe and give me like.

Pretty Flowers Learning Activity For Your Little

A very simple and easy activity to do with your little outside is to get them outside picking the beautiful wild flowers that are blooming.

My little and I had so much fun doing this for an hour.

I asked my daughter to help me find certain colored flowers 🌻

Then we took them inside and cut them down. She helped me put them in a little jelly jar .

And vuala we had a beautiful center piece to show daddy when he got home

How To Season Cast-iron Pans

Seasoning cast-iron pans is just one of those things I grew up knowing how to do. Its super simple and doesn’t take much at tall.

To begin, preheat your oven to 300 ° F

Next, scour your pans and dry.

Then, take and coat your pans with oil ( I use vegetable oil).

After that, put your pans in the oven for 1 hour.

Lastly, pull your pans out and VERY carefully wipe out access oil with a towel.

* please be careful not to burn yourself.*

Let the pans cool and you should have yourself seasoned pans.
